As part of the school’s holistic development plan for all Merahans, the school set aside Term 1 Week 10 as the GROW week when students grew in character through experiential learning, grew in passion for lifelong learning and grew in friendships with the class and schoolmates
For the first 2 days, the school focused on students’ academic needs with a specially tailored time-table for the different classes.
The following 3 days were filled with various talks and workshops where they were exposed to the different educational pathways available to them after their secondary education. Workshops to prepare them for future endeavours – interview skills, personal grooming and social etiquette – were also conducted.
The students participated actively in all the programmes and found the areas covered beneficial to their learning and development.
