Student iCON Onboarding Guide

Password Reset / Account Locked

Parents/Guardians,

We will reply within 1-2 working days. 

Password Requirements

1. Password must be 8-24 characters long.

1. Password must contain at least 1 lowercase letter(s).
   
2. Password must contain at least 1 numeric character(s).
   
3. Password must contain at least 1 uppercase character(s).
   
4. Password must contain at least 2 alphabetic character(s).
   
5. Password must not be one of the 3 previous passwords.
   
6. Password must not match or contain first name.
   
7. Password must not match or contain last name.
   
8. Password must not match or contain user ID.
   
9. Password expires every 360 days. Users will be alerted via email 7 days before the expiry date.
   
10. Maximum of 5 login attempts are allowed.
    
11. The password has to be change after subsequent password resets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1.  What is the naming convention for student iCON email address?

1. The students email address will be based on @students.edu.sg.

2.  Any space in the full name will be replaced with an underscore.

3.  Should the student’s full name have words such as “Bte” and “S/O”, they will not appear in the email address.

4. For case where students share the same full name, we have added a numerical number (e.g. Aldan _Tan_1) to differentiate their email address.
